München -- Day Two

While on a break, I stumbled upon the oldest bookshop in Munich, Lentner'sche Buchhandlung, established in 1698. Finding it was a lovely little stroke of luck.

The shop was creaky and cozy and lovingly curated and, well...divine. After puttering through this place, it will be awfully hard to ever set foot in Barnes and Noble again...

* found a beautifully illustrated book for Audrey + Bryan's Valentine's Day gift but don't want to give it away...

Hi Joslyn,

It looks like the bookstore in Seaside! Hope you are enjoying your time on your own. How I envy you!

i know what you mean...no b & n here, which i do miss. but we have fantastic book shops where everything's quiet and a bit dusty...exactly how a bookshop should be!

That book is absolutely beautiful. Elephants and butterflies? Yes, please. And the bookstore doesn't look half-bad either. Looks like you were meant to step in there....
